Whitewater Ski Resort

  • Mar 18, 2019: “Off the beaten path, this gem is loaded with snow and back country options but not much for the beginner. Snow hosts will guide you around to experience what it has to offer the intermediate or better skier. Good food in the lodge.” 0
  • Mar 12, 2019: “Planned a visit to Whitewater on my drive to go cat skiing. It was a Monday, so traffic was slower & since the fresh snow had fallen on Friday, the locals hit the mountain hard. It was a bluebird day, so I took the tour with the mountain host to get a feel for the mountain, which I highly recommend. After the tour, I stopped for a latte & a pastry (the food experience is amazing for a small resort) then returned to ski the Glory chair. Much to my surprise, even after a big weekend there was plenty of pow left under the chair for a full afternoon of great skiing. I soon realized that most of the crowd goes out to the tremendous amount of backcountry accessible by skinning off the lifts. This is a deceptively big mountain, plenty of groomed runs for speed and tree skiing within the boundaries. This place has "The Vibe". ” 1

We lucked out and had powder that day, the most I have had to opportunity to ski in about 2 years! Most of us started out with a complimentary mountain tour which helped us get familiar and feel comfortable as it was our first visit and with the snow the visibility was not great. But the tour really helped us to navigate and make the most of our day. Hats off to Kristen who helped organize our group of 13 and had our lift tickets ready when we arrived. Our lunch was unbelievable - not your typical ski lodge food whatsoever. We ate at the main lodge, some in the seated area and others in the caf. It all was gourmet food with lots of local flair. Some of us purchased the infamous cookbooks that are available. We felt most welcome and really enjoyed our day. We highly recommend skiing at Whitewater!” 2
