Revelstoke Mountain Resort

Während die Stadt Revelstoke auf mehr als ein Jahrhundert Ski-Geschichte zurückblickt, ist das Revelstoke Mountain Resort (RMR) vergleichsweise brandneu. In Kanadas jüngstem Skiresort befindet sich mit 1.712 Metern die längste Vertikale Nordamerikas, die per Skilift erreicht werden kann. Auf den 69 ausgewiesenen Pisten – davon 45 % als mittelschwer und weitere 47 % als anspruchsvoll eingestuft – verteilt auf einem 1.263 Hektar großen Gelände, fühlen sich erfahrene Skifahrer wie zu Hause.

Dec 29, 2024: “Mountain experience was beyond what we expected. Staff were excellent and seemed to enjoy their jobs. Line ups were non-existent - none at customer service, none at the lifts, parking was close, efficient and well managed. Snow was plentiful and terrain was well managed - not over-groomed! Managed a full day of skiing (Whistler as the base) in a few hours. Bring some snacks - food is scarce.” 0
Dec 5, 2024: “2nd time here downhill mountain biking, was another great day, a lot of variety of trails to suit every level. Great views from all over the mountain. Parking was a little difficult due to the construction going on in and around the base.” 1
Oct 4, 2024: “We visited in the summertime in their off season but I could definitely see how awesome of a place this would be in the winter months! It’s set up like a little village with restaurants, shops and villas. We bought their summer cavity pass which included a gondola ride to the top, axe throwing, the mountain coaster and a few others. The staff were very friendly and the coaster was pretty sweet.” 2
