An der rückseitigen Bergwand finden die wirklich erfahrenen Skifahrer ein 760 Hektar großes, menschenleeres Paradies vor mit Steil- und Tiefschneeabfahrten, die ausnahmslos schwarz und, typisch für Kanada, “doppelt-schwarz” markiert sind.

- Mar 15, 2020: “Recently purchased by a crappy US company called POWDR. They closed the resort without notice on the first day of spring break. Refused to provide any compensation for the 3 weeks lost on our passes. Ordered all staff off of the mountain within the week while misleading the public that they intended to reopen after 1 week. I wouldnt risk booking a vacation here to have POWDR close and not provide compensation. Seriously book with SunPeaks or BigWhite, they value their customers and treat them better than SilverStar does.” 0

I'm not the best skier whereas the rest of my family are! i was worried i wouldn't get around the mountain but it is absolutely wonderful. I would definitely go back to this resort. Not a lot of places on the mountain to go to eat etc but that was also the charm of the mountain.” 1
- Mar 7, 2020: “We had a great time at Silver Star. Perfect size resort. Great downhill runs, good variety. Excellent xc skiing with link to Sovereign. Amazingly groomed. The ski hosts were fantastic (Robert, Roy, Mike). Great stay at Campbell House (vacation rental). Walkable through parking lot to skiing. Just down the path to skating and tubing, as well as lower ski area.” 2
