Facilities: 34 campsites, 2 group sites, public beach, picnic area, boat launch, hiking trails, pit toilets, hand water pump. There is a 10hp boating restriction on the lake. Location: The best access road is off of Highway 3 about 6km east of Bridesville. Follow Johnstone Creek Road for 25km to the park. It is a maintained gravel road and takes approximately 40 minutes from the highway turnoff. Other access points off of Highway 33 and from OK Falls are not well marked and are unmaintained forestry roads that are not suitable for vehicle traffic. Conkle Lake is a secluded lake in the sub-alpine Kettle Valley area that offers rainbow trout fishing, canoeing, swimming and hiking. Come enjoy the sunshine, sandy beach and pristine views at this out-of-the-way gem! Firewood is available for sale. Open from May Long Weekend through Labour Day.
Jamie’s is the West Coast’s Original Whale & Wildlife Adventure Centre, navigating the waters of Clayoquot and Barkley Sound since 1982. We are thrilled to be celebrating close to 40 years on the water! We have the largest fleet in the area, offering whale watching & bear watching on larger covered cruisers or zodiacs! Join our experienced and knowledgeable crew as we help you discover this beautiful destination. We also offer tours to Hot Springs Cove (by boat or seaplane), kayaking, water taxi service to Meares Island, scenic flights, and much more. Visit us at our Tofino and Ucluelet locations, where we have gift shops and lots of FREE parking (including RV parking in Tofino). Please note that all Jamie’s tours are subject to a Marine Research and Rescue fee, which goes directly to benefit local, non-profit groups involved with wildlife research, rescue and education. We also have complimentary kennels in Tofino for your dogs while you’re out exploring with us!

Photo Tours on Sundays. The Photo Tours are $20 per person. For 2019 we will tour and photograph Cascade Falls starting mid-May – date TBA. Join us and bring your family. Children under 14 free. It’s easy walking for everyone. We have several locations at the falls. Bring your camera, phone or tablet . The W.A.C. Bennett Dam Visitor Centre is now open until September 2, 2019. You can join us seven days a week from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and enjoy an underground bus tour and explore our exhibits, interactive games, cafe and gift shop. The Visitor Centre is fun and engaging for all ages and interests. It’s an amazing experience that should not be missed.
