Built by coal baron Robert Dunsmuir during the reign of Queen Victoria and now a National Historic Site, Craigdarroch Castle has been meticulously restored, giving visitors a glimpse of privileged life in the 1890s. The castle weaves a fascinating tale of an intriguing family - their achievements, their relationships and even their quirks.

You'll find us just off Fort Street at 1050 Joan Crescent, just a short drive or leisurely walk from Victoria's inner harbour. Open daily for self-guided tours.

Point Ellice House

Historic house museum built in 1861; home of the O'Reilly family for 3 generations. Original furnishings & personal effects displayed as in the 1890-1920 period. Early Victoria pioneers. Heritage garden presently being restored to original plan. Visitors can arrive by Harbour Ferries from Inner Harbour to our dock. Site available for wedding & other special event rentals. Come visit O'Reillys' Restaurant offering a fully licenced bar opened daily for lunch and afternoon tea and suitable for group dinner parties upon request.

Shaw Centre for the Salish Sea

Sidney's waterfront aquarium is home to over 3,500 marine animals from the unique local habitats of the Salish Sea. The Shaw Centre for the Salish Sea is located in the beautiful seaside town of Sidney. Only minutes from the Victoria International Airport, Washington State ferry terminal (Anacortes/San Juan Islands) and the BC Ferries terminal at Swartz Bay, gateway to the Gulf Islands and Vancouver.

St. Ann's Academy National Historic Site

Former girls school & convent, St. Ann's Academy National Historic site is located just one block from the Inner Harbour. St. Ann's features 2.5 ha (6.25 ac) of restored grounds & historic interiors featuring the 1858 restored chapel, Victoria's original Catholic cathedral. Self-guided tours available in the Interpretive Centre. Restored grounds are open dawn to dusk daily; great for a break from shopping with the kids & the dog. Bilingual outdoor interpretive signage new in 2012. Seasonal programing for Christmas and temporary exhibits, annually. Chapel, auditorium and grounds available for special event rentals.
