After obtaining an initial grant from the Government of $35,000 and $10,000 from the Legion, Rotary Club, an army of volunteers began work. The golf course is owned by the Town of Ladysmith, is operated & managed by the Ladysmith Golf Club Society, a nonprofit society run by a volunteer board of directors.
